I am fascinated by sand dunes and photographed dunes all over the world. On my Mongolia trip we spent two days at the Hongoryn Els sand dunes in the Gobi. This was my third visit to these dunes and again I took hundreds of photos because they are always different. This time we had good evening light on both days and on the second day we made arrangements with a camel herder to meet us in the evening with some of his Bactrian camels. Here are a few photos from the dunes and our setup with the herder.
