After spending several days at the lodge we took a plane to Juneau to start our second part of the photo tour on a small boat I had chartered to cruise the fjords and passages of Southeast Alaska.  We had rainy weather in Juneau which slowly cleared and gave us some dramatic skies like in the photo above of Point Retreat Lighthouse. Since there was no internet on the boat, I will be posting the photos over the next days.  We had some beautiful photo opportunities.

When I am photographing I am always using different angles and lenses to get several compositions of one scene, such as here at the Nugget Falls, Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau

Just changing the point of view and using a long lens, the image is very different.
