I just returned from leading my Alaska 2015 Photo Tour to SE Alaska and Brooks Falls. We were very lucky with the weather and had a great time. We saw black bears, Orcas, breaching and feeding Humpback whales, the northern lights, lots of birds, and brown bears at Brooks Falls National Park. However, the bear density at Brook Falls was not what it used to be. The best explanation I heard was that the Sockeye salmon run was very good and the bears had a lot of food and did not need to concentrate at the falls. Anyhow, as you can see, we got some great brown bear fishing photos.
If you are interested in a future tour, please email me at [email protected]
