After leaving the Camargue we traveled through the beautiful country side of the Cote du Rhone and saw some picturesque medieval villages. My mind was still with the beautiful horses of the last evening. We went into a marsh and had a group of 14 younger horses to work with. The young horses are brown or grey and turn into a grayish white when they reach the age of 3 to 4 years. The sun was going down and Serge, my French photographer friend, arranged several drives straight into the cameras. It was exciting to have the horses all around us and being sprayed by the flying water. Just before the horses would run over us, they turned and stopped.
