Ice is nice

I am editing the photos from my Alaska photo tour in August.  We spent a morning in Tracy Arm in front of the South Sawyer Glacier.  It was spectacular:  the light on the icebergs turned them into sparkling diamonds.  The glacier was constantly carving and at one point about 1/3 of the glacier face came down in a massive calving.  I have visited the glacier frequently since 1994, but have never seen such calving activity – Global Warming!
