After a full day of photographing in Jerome, the old mining town near Cottonwood, Arizona, I came back to the hotel to relax. During the afternoon grey clouds started to move in and the light turned flat as the day progressed. I downloaded my images when I saw some clearing in the west. I kept on watching the western sky and by 5pm I thought that it is time to head back out. The day before I had scouted some viewpoints for panoramic photos and I knew where I wanted to be during the magic hour before sunset. As soon as I arrived, I started to take several sets of photos which I would stitch later to get panoramic images. The light and the clouds were constantly changing. For the image below I used Windows Live Photo Gallery.
