We are back from a morning shoot of barns and a canola field. Today the sky was blue with no clouds, what I call a boring sky for photography. When photographing a sky like this, I include only a little bit of the cloudless sky and concentrate on the foreground. I used a 24mm wide angle lens, holding the camera about an inch over the flowers, which has the effect of having the canola flowing into the lens. The other image I took by using the wide angle, closing the aperture to F22, putting the camera on the ground between the plants and shooting blind against the sun. Using F22 creates the sunburst.
