Full moon over the Gobi
We were photographing the sunset over the sand dunes of Hongoryn in the Gobi Desert in southern Mongolia. Concentrating on the beautiful patterns of the sand ripples in the evening light we almost missed the rising full moon behind us. Lesson: whenever you photograph, look around because there might be something worthwhile photographing.
