Atacama Desert and Patagonia Photo Tour – 3

ND4_0723

Atacama Desert and Patagonia Photo Tour (will be repeated in 2014): Driving through the Andes Mountains we entered Chile at the Jama Pass 14,436 feet (4,400 m). We found Llamas with the Licancabur volcano in the background which is a highly symmetrical stratovolcano on the southernmost part of the border between Chile and Bolivia. It is located just southwest of Laguna Verde in Bolivia. The volcano dominates the landscape of the Salar de Atacama area.
